MarkWest Energy Partners, L.P. (MWE) today announced that the Board of Directors of the General Partner of MarkWest Energy Partners, L.P., declared a cash distribution of $0.91 per common unit for the first quarter of 2015, for an implied annual rate of $3.64 per common unit. The first quarter 2015 distribution represents an increase of $0.04 per common unit, or 4.6 percent, compared to the first quarter 2014 distribution and an increase of $0.01 per common unit, or 1.1 percent, compared to the fourth quarter 2014 distribution.

The first quarter 2015 distribution is payable May 15, 2015, to unitholders of record on May 7, 2015. The ex-dividend date is May 5, 2015.

MarkWest Energy Partners, L.P. is a master limited partnership that owns and operates midstream services related businesses.
