Annual energy gathering to engage industry professionals seeking to share technologies, network and do business

WHAT: 

Global Petroleum Show (GPS) will kick-off its 49th year in Calgary, Alberta from Tuesday, June 13 to Thursday, June 15 at Stampede Park. The annual event will welcome industry professionals from around the globe to discuss timely and relevant topics as they relate to the oil and gas industry. In addition to more than 1,000 exhibiting companies, headlining this year's show will be the Low Carbon Innovation Forum, the Indigenous Conference on Energy and Mining, the Energy Dialogues, and the Country Markets Seminar Series.




This year's show is anticipated to host more than 50,000 attendees from 20,000 companies, spanning more than 85 countries as they seek out innovation and thought leadership in the ever-evolving landscape of the energy industry.




GPS will offer industry leaders, experts and delegates the opportunity to connect with clients, suppliers and potential customers from across the globe. Attendees will have the opportunity to attend forums that will discuss industry trends and solution-oriented processes focused on the future of the energy sector. Visitors are invited to see new technologies; explore new exhibitions zones, like the Clean Technology and Digital Oilfield zones; gain insight into best practices and expert knowledge at conferences, seminar series and presentation theatres; and meet with clients face-to-face at the many industry networking events.




Early bird registration is now open. Those who register before May 31, 2017 will receive a free, three-day exhibition pass. Advanced registration is open from June 1 – 12 for $75; standard registration is open as of June 13 for $125.

New Technology and Exhibition Zones:

  • Clean Technology Zone – This zone will bring together clean energy systems, development and consulting companies to broaden knowledge in this area of the industry.   • Opening Night Reception – Industry professionals from around the world will gather for an evening of hors d'ouevres, live music, photo opportunities and celebration as GPS kicks-off once again. In partnership with the Indigenous Center of Energy, this year's conference will follow the theme of "Empowering Connections".
