NAES Selected To Operate Hunterstown Generating Station

ISSAQUAH, Wash., July 2, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- NAES Corporation has assumed the care, custody and control of Hunterstown Generating Station near Gettysburg, Pa. Asset manager Competitive Power Ventures (CPV) selected NAES to operate and maintain the natural gas-fired combined-cycle facility, which is rated at 839MW capacity.

Located in Straban Township, Adams County, Pa., Hunterstown is equipped with three GE 7FB.04 combustion turbines and one GE D11 steam turbine. The plant utilizes a dry-cooled condenser to minimize groundwater usage from on-site wells. The facility began commercial operations in 2003, providing electric power to the PJM Interconnection.
