New Jersey Natural Gas Wins J.D. Power Award in the East Among Large Utilities Four Years in a Row

For the fourth consecutive year, customers gave New Jersey Natural Gas (NJNG) top honors for its commitment to excellence, rating the company “Highest in Customer Satisfaction with Residential Natural Gas Service in the East among Large Utilities,” according to the J.D. Power 2018 Gas Utility Residential Customer Satisfaction Study℠.

NJNG ranks highest in price, safety and reliability and customer service — outperforming its peers. The company achieved an overall score of 758.

NJNG also received the highest numerical score in the East on the J.D. Power 2017 Gas Utility Business Customer Satisfaction Study℠. NJNG has been recognized for its ongoing commitment to customers 13 times since J.D. Power began measuring the customer satisfaction of natural gas utilities more than 17 years ago.

New Jersey Natural Gas received the highest score among large utility providers in the East in the J.D. Power 2015-2018 Gas Utility Residential Customer Satisfaction Study, and the East Large Segment of the 2017 Gas Utility Business Customer Satisfaction Study. The 2018 residential study is based on 60,000 total residential responses among 84 providers, and the 2017 business study is based on 10,050 total business responses among 15 providers, and measure customer satisfaction among residential and commercial customers in the U.S. surveyed February – June and August – November 2017 (business) and September 17 – July 2018 (residential).
