OPEC crude basket drops to $30.13

, Mar 1 (EFE).- The basket of crude oil used as a benchmark indicator by the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries, or OPEC, dropped to $30.13, the OPEC Secretariat said on Tuesday.

OPEC said the price of its basket, which includes 13 varieties of crude, decreased by 1.9 percent on Monday, compared with the closing price of the previous session.

April delivery of Brent crude opened at $36.87 a barrel at the start of Tuesday's trading on the futures market, with an increase of 2.5 percent from the previous session's close. EFE
