, Apr 5 (EFE).- The basket of crude oil used as a benchmark indicator by the
Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries, or
OPEC, has dropped to
$33.33, the OPEC Secretariat based in
Vienna
said on Tuesday.
OPEC said the price of its basket, which includes 13 varieties of crude, decreased by $1.14 on Monday, compared with the closing price of the previous session last Friday.
The June delivery of Brent crude opened at $37.62 a barrel at the start of Tuesday's trading on the futures market, with a decrease of 0.44 percent from the previous session's close. EFE
