OPEC crude basket rises to $29.35

, Feb 17 (EFE).- The basket of crude oil used as a benchmark indicator by the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries, or OPEC, rose to $29.35, the OPEC Secretariat said on Wednesday.

OPEC said the price of its basket, which includes 13 varieties of crude, increased by 3.1 percent on Tuesday, compared with the closing price of the previous session.

March delivery of Brent crude opened at $32.13 a barrel at the start of Wednesday's trading on the futures market, with a decrease of 0.15 percent from the previous session's close. EFE
