OPEC crude basket rises to $46.46

Vienna, Jun 23 (EFE).- The basket of crude oil used as a benchmark indicator by the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries, or OPEC, went up to $46.46, the OPEC Secretariat said on Thursday.

OPEC said the price of its basket, which includes 13 varieties of crude, increased by 0.9 percent on Wednesday, compared with the closing price of the previous session.

The August delivery of Brent crude opened at $50.21 per barrel at the start of Thursday's trading on the futures market, a 0.75 percent decrease since the previous session's close. EFE
