OPEC crude basket rises to $46.54

Vienna, Jun 8 (EFE).- The basket of crude oil used as a benchmark indicator by the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) has risen to $46.54, the OPEC Secretariat said on Wednesday.

OPEC said the price of its basket, which includes 13 varieties of crude, increased by $0.45 on Tuesday, compared with the closing price of the previous session.

The August delivery of Brent crude opened at $51.53 per barrel at the start of Wednesday's trading on the futures market, a 0.19 percent increase since the previous session's close. EFE
