PECO Employees Volunteer Record Number of Hours in 2015

$6.5 million also donated to Southeastern Pennsylvania nonprofits

PECO employees set a new company record in 2015, dedicating more time and energy to local nonprofit organizations than in any previous year. Last year, PECO employees logged nearly 15,000 volunteer hours at more than 150 local nonprofits.

From preparing meals for terminally ill patients and collecting thousands of winter coats for local children to helping preserve green spaces throughout the region, PECO remains deeply connected to our local communities. Employees also shared their time and talents by serving as board members for 166 local nonprofits and supported their favorite charities through financial contributions. The company’s 2015 Employee Giving Campaign raised more than $655,000 through employee donations and company matching dollars.
