Conatus Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ: CNAT) a biotechnology company focused on the development and commercialization of novel medicines to treat liver disease, announced on Monday (4/4) that it has appointed Edward F. Smith III, Ph.D., as Senior Vice President, Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance. Shares of CNAT have seen a build up in price of more than 70% since February.
