  • Anthony "Tony" Scott: Managing Partner, Information Technology – appointed by President Barack Obama as the 3rd Chief Information Officer (Federal CIO) for the U.S. Government, where he was responsible for modernizing IT systems, infrastructure, digital transformation, cybersecurity, open data and IT strategy across the federal government. Prior, Tony served as the CIO and Senior Vice President of VMware, Inc., the CIO and Corporate Vice President of Microsoft Corporation, the CIO and Senior Vice President of The Walt Disney Co, and the Chief Technology Officer at General Motors Corporation.
        
  • Molly Corbett Broad: Partner, Education – former President (currently President Emeritus) of the American Council on Education (ACE) from 2008 to 2018. Prior to, she was the President of the University of North Carolina System, where she led a multi-campus university system composed of 16 public universities. Prior to, she served in executive positions at institutes for higher education, including the California State University system, the University of Arizona, and Syracuse University.
            
  • Kate Gordon: Partner, Sustainability – is a nationally recognized expert on the intersection of clean energy and economic development, and on issues related to climate change and sustainable economic growth, serving as a Senior Advisor at the Paulson Institute, and Fellow of the Center on Global Energy Policy at Columbia University. She was Senior Vice President for Climate and Energy at Next Generation, Vice President of Energy and Environment at the Center for American Progress, Co-Executive Director of the national Apollo Alliance, and serves on the non-profit boards of Vote Solar, Center for Carbon Removal, and the American Jobs Project.
           
  • Marcus H. Sachs: Partner, Information Technology – served on the National Security Council, the President's Critical Infrastructure Protection Board, and as Chief of National Cyber Security Division for U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), where he was responsible for developing the implementation plan for the National Strategy to Secure Cyberspace and the U.S. Computer Emergency Response Team (US-CERT). Mr. Sachs' private sector experience includes serving as the Deputy Director of SRI International's Computer Science Laboratory, as well as the Vice President for National Security Policy at Verizon Communications, and as the Senior Vice President and Chief Security Officer of the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC).
      
  • Ellen McDermott: Partner, Information Technology – an expert in R&D programs leading to commercialization, with a focus on secure interoperation of heterogeneous networks and security related protocols, with service including: security architect at the National Security Agency (NSA), the Defense Research Project Agency's Survivable Adaptive Network program, and at the Digital Equipment Corporation; with Open Vision and Open Market Inc. where she analyzed and identified security flaws and designed a security infrastructure supporting next generation products leading to successful IPO's for both companies. She also served as a security architect at IBM, a security architect at Microsoft, as well as Corporate Vice President and Chief Information Risk Officer at JPMorgan Chase & Co.
        
  • Governor Bill Ritter: Venture Partner, Sustainability – the most recent Governor of Colorado, where he led the state to become a leader in renewable energy by building a New Energy Economy, which created thousands of new jobs and established hundreds of new companies; enacted an aggressive business-development and job-creation agenda that is focused on knowledge-based industries of the future such as energy, aerospace, biosciences, information technology. Governor Ritter is the Director of the Center for the New Energy Economy (CNEE) at Colorado State University.

Dr. Arvizu serves on the Stanford Precourt Institute for Energy Advisory Council, and is Chairman of the National Science Board of the United States, which oversees the National Science Foundation.
         
  • The Hon. Arun Majumdar: Senior Advisor, Sustainability – Dr. Majumdar is the Jay Precourt Professor at Stanford University, and Co-Director of the Precourt Institute for Energy, which integrates and coordinates research across all seven Schools and the Hoover Institution at Stanford. Dr. Majumdar was nominated by President Obama and confirmed by the Senate to become the Founding Director of the Advanced Research Projects Agency - Energy (ARPA-E), where he helped ARPA-E become a model of excellence for the government and external stakeholders. He also served as the Acting Under Secretary of Energy, with oversight of: Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, Office of Electricity Delivery and Reliability, Office of Nuclear Energy and the Office of Fossil Energy. Dr. Majumdar was the Vice President for Energy at Google, where he created several energy technology initiatives, especially at the intersection of data, computing and electricity grid. Previously, Dr. Majumdar was the Almy & Agnes Maynard Chair Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science & Engineering at University of California–Berkeley and the Associate Laboratory Director for energy and environment at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.
