EDMONTON, Feb. 22, 2016 /CNW/ - A summary of monitoring results from the third year of the Joint Canada-Alberta Implementation Plan for Oil Sands Monitoring (JOSM) is now available online on the Alberta Environmental Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting Agency (AEMERA) website, aemera.org. The associated 2014-2015 data can also be found online in the Data Library of the Alberta Environmental Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting Information Service (AEMERIS) and on Environment and Climate Change Canada's (ECCC) jointoilsandsmonitoring.ca information portal.
The report, prepared by ECCC and AEMERA, summarizes the results of monitoring work done in year three – April 1, 2014 to March 31, 2015 – of the Implementation Plan under the joint leadership of ECCC and AEMERA.
The report is the second part of the annual reporting for 2014-2015. The first report, released July 2015, provided a summary of the oil sands monitoring work plan for 2014–2015 and progress against commitments for the three-year implementation plan.
