Robix Environmental (RZX): Front and Center for Husky Energy Oil Spill

Robix Environmental Technologies (RZX:CNX), a solutions and equipment provider for oil spill protection industry, has captured the attentions of the environmental and investment communities yet again with its most recent announcement. Today, the company has revealed, according to its official press release, has initiated discussions on emergency response scenarios with numerous stakeholders impacted by the Husky Energy oil spill in the North Saskatchewan River, which occurred on July 20th, 2016. Furthermore, the company provided a corporate update, highlighting two key developments. First, acquisition of Formation Fluid Management, Inc and all its issued and outstanding common shares is near completion. The company also published a marketing video of the Mexico-based C160 oil spill recovery vessel operation.

“The C160 design is a scalable oil spill recovery vessel that we have been demonstrating to customers in Mexico for the past several months. We are extremely pleased with the market acceptance in Mexico,” commented Nathan Hansen, President and CEO of Robix. “A smaller version of the 160 is an elegant solution to river spills similar to what we have seen in the North Saskatchewan River. Our C Series products offer a level of preparedness that simply does not exist in this area today. The Husky Energy oil spill highlights the need for robust emergency response technology in these types of environments that are near production facilities and pipelines.”

Based in Alberta, Robix Fuels is committed to developing products and services that protect the environment, with its primary focus on oil recovery.
