Russell Reynolds Associates, a leading executive search firm, today
announced that Brian Bayne and Stuart Vardaman have joined the firm’s
Houston office as part of the Energy and Natural Resources Practice. The
new additions to the team will bolster Russell Reynolds Associates’
presence in the Houston area.

Brian Bayne, Energy and Natural Resources
In addition to serving in the Energy and Natural Resources Practice,
Brian Bayne will also serve as a member of the Corporate Officers
Practice. With more than 17 years of experience in business and
corporate development, Brian is well suited to advise clients in the
space.
Prior to joining the firm, Brian served as General Manager and Global
Energy Practice Lead for Axiom Law, a global legal services company.
There, his responsibilities included general management, client
development and attorney recruiting. Before that, he spent more than a
decade at IBM as their North America Director of Petroleum, Chemicals &
Industrial Products for the Global Business Services Division.
Brian holds a B.S. in Biology from Vanderbilt University and an M.B.A.
from University of Dallas.
Stuart Vardaman, Energy and Natural Resources
Stuart Vardaman spent the past three years in executive recruitment for
the energy sector, building extensive knowledge of the industry and
recruiting executives for oil and gas companies.
Prior to that, he spent four years with Gallup, a private global
consulting firm where he worked with clients across several industries,
including oil and gas, retail and financial services. In his role as
Senior Consultant, Stuart worked to understand client business issues
and deliver solutions to increase productivity and profitability.
Stuart earned a B.A. in English from Texas Christian University and an
M.B.A. from Texas A&M University.
