Mike Long, Chief Financial Officer and Patrick Talamas, Senior Vice President, Geoscience, of Sanchez Energy (NYSE: SN) presented today at EnerCom’s The Oil & Services Conference™ 10. Sanchez Energy Corporation is a high growth, publicly traded oil and gas producer pursuing significant low-risk drilling opportunities in the Eagle Ford Shale trend of South Texas. The majority of the company’s leases have full depth rights and are prospective for the Buda Limestone, Austin Chalk, and Pearsall shale formations.

During the company’s breakout session, management was asked the following questions:

  • You use the word “vertical” more than most of your peers. What data are you looking to gain from your vertical test wells?
  • What lateral length are you planning to use for your horizontal development?
  • How should investors think about EOG’s news last week of down spacing in the Eagle Ford?
  • Are there companies near your acreage that are testing the Pearsall shale formation?
  • What type of frac are you using on your wells? Slick water of gel?
  • Some operators are reporting a decline in service costs in the Eagle Ford. Can you talk about what you are seeing in terms of costs and availability for services?
  • What opportunities are there to acquire more acreage in the Eagle Ford?
  • Are you hedged in 2012 and 2013?
  • Do you have a credit facility that you can draw upon?
  • Are you experiencing any infrastructure issues in the paly? Are you using trucks to get you oil to market?
  • What prices are you able to get for your production?
