The proposed Spire STL Pipeline will take that one step further by bringing affordable and abundant natural gas to the St. Louis region from the largest producing basin in America. Today marks the beginning of the open season for this pipeline to broadly solicit commercial interest in capacity on our proposed pipeline. The open season ends on August 19, 2016.
The proposed 70-mile steel pipeline would interconnect to the Rockies Express Pipeline in Scott County, Illinois and end in St. Louis County, Missouri. The pipeline as proposed will be capable of delivering up to 400,000 dekatherms per day of natural gas into our region.
