Major indices fall flat as Treasury Secretary Mnuchin comments on passing stimulus before the election. Mnuchin said around midday that getting a deal done before the election would be difficult, adding that both sides were still far apart on certain issues. He also noted, however, that Democrats and Republicans are making progress in some areas.

The Dow Jones was down 148 points, or 0.5%. The S&P 500 traded 0.7% lower and the Nasdaq slid 1%

What happened to crude oil prices today? Crude oil prices spike 2% after OPEC+ talks yield more taper production, but the questions remains will OPEC+ follow? Crude oil prices are currently trading around $41.02. Natural gas prices are down of after weather models show some cooler temps coming in, losing steam for a hotter than usual week.  Natural gas prices currently trading 8% lower, down to $2.622. Around 30-40% of all US LNG production remains offline due to the fallout from Hurricane Delta
