Retail sales save the week as major industries turn green off the back of strong September retail sales information.  The Dow Jones traded 242 points higher, or 0.8%. The S&P 500 gained 0.5% and the Nasdaq advanced 0.4%. Retail sales for September jumped 1.9%, topping analysts expectations of .7%. Meanwhile, Europe’s regulator said Boeing’s 737 Max jet is safe to fly again. Boeing shares rose 5%.

Oil and Gas News Today

Crude oil prices stay relatively flat amid a huge run up in rigs (+13). Crude oil prices currently trading at $40.85 around 1 PM MST.  Natural gas prices all amid both a shifting of the overnight weather patterns and LNG terminal showing feedgas into most major US LNG terminals. Natural gas prices fell to $2.71.
