Mixed day for the markets as traders react to statements from both House Speak Nancy Pelosi and President Trump each give conflicting statements, driving markets sideways for a ranged bound day. The Dow Jones closed 122 points higher, or 0.4%. The S&P 500 gained 0.8% and the Nasdaq Composite was up 0.5%.  

Pelosi, D-Calif., told reporters there will not be a stand-alone stimulus bill for airlines — something President Donald Trump had pushed for the day before —  without a bigger aid package. Earlier in the day, Trump told Fox Business that the administration and Democrats were “starting to have some very productive talks.” 

 Oil and Gas News Today 

Crude oil prices spike amid more shut in’s off Hurricane Delta. Prices are currently trading around $41.29, up 3.35% from the overnight session.  Natural gas prices finish up off colder weather, but the 12-month strip stays flat, trading at $3.126 for NG 12-month strip
