More positive vaccine news, this time from Moderna, lift markets green and sending energy stocks soaring.  The Dow Jones Industrial Average added 356 points, or 1.2%, and reached an intraday record. The S&P 500 rose 0.8% and the Nasdaq Composite climbed 0.5%.

Crude oil prices rally over 3% from news of a vaccine, brushing off concerns of rising global oil stocks.  Crude oil prices currently are trading around $41.37 for the day. Natural gas prices dive after weather models turn warmer even through December, which is longer than previously expected. Weather data was “decidedly” bearish trending over the weekend, with forecast demand dropping compared to Friday’s expectations, according to Bespoke Weather Services.
