Markets open this week up ahead of the US election, with polls opening nation wide tomorrow morning.  Stocks rose mainly of the theme that the election with be smoother than expected. Majors indices traded mostly flat, with NQ seeing a modest drop

  • Dow Jones: 1.63%

The U.S. is also grappling with rising new coronavirus infections. The nation reported 99,321 new Covid-19 cases on Friday, beating its previous record set only a day prior, according to Johns Hopkins University. The top five records in daily cases have all been reported within the last eight days.

Crude oil prices defy all logic, rising modestly today after the supply side fundamentals break down with Libya set to increase oil production to 1.2 mm bbb/day by 2021. Crude oil prices currently trading around the $37 mark.  Natural gas prices fall amid changes in the long term weather forecast, with prices around $3.238
