Energy News Beat #167: 11/25/2020

Slow day in the markets (50% drop in volume) leads to a slumping of major indices as traders (who are still trading…) react to not ideal unemployment data.  The 30-stock Dow slid 136 points, or 0.5%. The S&P 500, meanwhile, dipped 0.1%. The Nasdaq Composite outperformed, rising 0.4%

The Labor Department said that 778,000 people filed for unemployment benefits for the first time last week. Economists polled by Dow Jones expected initial jobless claims to come in at 733,000.

Natural gas prices again rise after falling early in the trading session with a draw of 18 bcf in NG stocks, with natural gas prices holding steady at $2.821
