Patterson 4H well targeting Shannon Formation to Spud on March 22, 2023
STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colorado – March 17, 2023 – Three Crown Petroleum (“Three Crown” or the “Company”) today provided an operational update on the Falcon Prospect located in Converse County, Wyoming.
The Company plans to move a rig on location for the Patterson 4H, a 1.5 mile horizontal well targeting the Shannon formation on March 22, 2023. The Patterson 4H is located on the same pad as the Patterson 3H, which was drilled to the Niobrara formation and reached total depth on December 25, 2022.
After drilling of the Patterson 4H well is completed, Three Crown plans to simultaneously commence completion operations on the Patterson 3H and 4H wells in May.
The Bridger oil pipeline and the Mirage gas line are located adjacent to the well pad and provide immediate offtake capacity.
Three Crown’s wells are flanked by established operators including WRC Energy (formerly Wold Oil Properties), Continental Resources, Impact Exploration, and Northwoods Energy.
The nearby Niobrara wells have been highly productive with cumulative production of more than 250 Mboe per well in the first twenty-four months and EUR’s of 600 Mboe over the life of the wells Nearby Shannon wells have been highly productive, with the offsetting Tuesday Draw Well in 38-74 (WRC Energy) having produced approximately 300 Mboe to date from the Shannon formation.
