Toscana Energy Announces Implementation of Amendments to Convertible Debentures

CALGARY, Alberta, June 29, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Toscana Energy Income Corporation ("Toscana" or the "Corporation") (TSX:TEI) is pleased to announce that in furtherance of its proposal to amend the terms of their outstanding 6.75% convertible unsecured subordinated debentures due June 30, 2018 (the "Debentures"), which proposal received the support of the holders of Debentures (“Debentureholders”) and the holders of common shares of the Corporation at their respective meetings held on April 23, 2018, Toscana will implement the amendments as proposed effective June 30, 2018.  On and after June 30, 2018, Debentureholders who would like to obtain a new debenture certificate reflecting the amendments may do so by contacting Computershare Trust Company of Canada, as debenture trustee, and requesting a new certificate.  However, it is not necessary for Debentureholders to exchange their existing debenture certificate for a new debenture certificate in order to be subject to the amendments.  The Debentures, as amended, will continue to trade on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol TEI.DB.
