Weekly Gas Storage: Inventories increase by 95 Bcf

Natural Gas Inventories as of May 29, 2026

The EIA has released its natural gas inventory report, showing a net increase of 95 Bcf as of May 29, 2026.

Working gas in storage was 2,578 Bcf as of Friday, May 29, 2026, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net increase of 95 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 3 Bcf less than last year at this time and 138 Bcf above the five-year average of 2,440 Bcf.

At 2,578 Bcf, total working gas is within the five-year historical range.
