Natural Gas Inventories as of December 3, 2021
The EIA has released its natural gas inventory report, showing a net decrease of 59 Bcf as of December 3, 2021.
Working gas in storage was 3,505 Bcf as of Friday, December 3, 2021, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net decrease of 59 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 356 Bcf less than last year at this time and 90 Bcf below the five-year average of 3,595 Bcf.
At 3,505 Bcf, total working gas is within the five-year historical range.

Regions that experienced a net decrease this week were the East, Midwest, South Central, South Central Salt, and South Central Nonsalt regions. The Pacific region experienced a net increase. The Mountain region had no change.
