Natural Gas Inventories as of June 28, 2019

The EIA has released its natural gas inventory report, showing a build of 89 Bcf as of June 28.

Working gas in storage was 2,390 Bcf as of Friday, June 28, 2019, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net increase of 89 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 249 Bcf higher than last year at this time and 152 Bcf below the five-year average of 2,542 Bcf.

At 2,390 Bcf, total working gas is within the five-year historical range.

All regions experienced a net increase this week, however the South Central salt count declined by four. Stocks in every region are below the five-year average. Gas in storage in the Mountain region is the farthest below the five-year average for the area, at 16.3% below the average.
