Natural Gas Inventories as of June 14, 2019

The EIA has released its natural gas inventory report, showing a build of 115 Bcf as of June 14.

Working gas in storage was 2,203 Bcf as of Friday, June 14, 2019, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net increase of 115 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 209 Bcf higher than last year at this time and 199 Bcf below the five-year average of 2,402 Bcf.

At 2,203 Bcf, total working gas is within the five-year historical range.

All regions saw a build this week, the largest of which occurred in the Midwest. Stocks in every region are below the five-year average. Gas in storage in the Mountain region is the farthest below the five-year average for the area, at 21.9% below the average.
