Weekly Gas Storage: Inventories increase by 84 Bcf

Natural Gas Inventories as of June 9, 2023

The EIA has released its natural gas inventory report, showing a net increase of 84 Bcf as of June 9, 2023.

Working gas in storage was 2,634 Bcf as of Friday, June 9, 2023, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net increase of 84 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 552 Bcf higher than last year at this time and 353 Bcf above the five-year average of 2,281 Bcf.

At 2,634 Bcf, total working gas is within the five-year historical range.
