Andy Coulouris joins DTE Energy as federal affairs director

DETROIT, Aug. 10, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- DTE Energy today named Andy Coulouris to the position of director, Federal Affairs, leading the company's policy and advocacy efforts in Washington, D.C. A Michigan native, Coulouris most recently led global government affairs for Dow Corning Corporation where he was responsible for directing the development, integration and execution of global and regional government affairs strategies.  Coulouris replaces Nancy Moody, who now serves as DTE's vice president of Public Affairs.

Coulouris received bachelors and law degrees from the University of Michigan and served as Councilman for the City of Saginaw and was twice elected to the Michigan legislature before joining Dow Corning. While with Dow Corning, Coulouris influenced political advocacy, management of industry and trade association relationships, and administration of Dow Corning's PAC. Coulouris has leadership experience on chemical regulatory, trade, tax and energy issues.
