In an effort to streamline and improve our email distributions we have changed to a new email platform this week. While we are confident of the long term benefits of the new system, information technology is a fickle master who is skilled at delivering the unexpected.
Case in point: for a small number of recipients, “Closing Bell” has probably landed in your Junk or SPAM folder for the past couple of days. Our own editor is one of these lucky people. Why did this happen?
The sudden change of email delivery servers may have tricked your company’s email system into sidelining our reports. Why? Because some email servers are picky. When they detect something from a new server, they immediately classify it as “junk” or “Spam.” In most cases if you see “Closing Bell” in your junk mail folder all you have to do is move the email out of Junk/SPAM into your inbox. Problem solved.
