Bellatrix Exploration Ltd is a Calgary, Alberta-based intermediate energy producer focused on exploration and development of light oil and liquids-rich natural gas in the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin. Its two core resource plays are the Spirit River and the Cardium formations in Western Canada.
In Q2 Bellatrix started phase two of its O’Chiese Nees-Ohpawganu’ck deep-cut gas plant, which was said to be able to add an incremental 30 MMcf/d ownership capacity net to Bellatrix’s 25% working interest.
