C3 ENERGY SHOWCASES UTILITY TRANSITIONS TO DIGITAL CUSTOMER
ENGAGEMENT AND GRID OPERATIONS AT UTILITY ANALYTICS WEEK
C3
Energy, the leader in enterprise analytic software solutions for the
global energy industry, hosted an exclusive Leadership Forum for more
than 100 utility professionals at the Utility Analytics Week (UAW)
conference in New Orleans yesterday. The event showcased three leading
power companies – American Electric Power-Public Service Company of
Oklahoma (AEP-PSO), Enel, and Eversource Energy – that are currently
using C3 Energy’s platform and analytics software applications.
“C3 Energy delivered a powerful agenda at UAW, highlighting real-world
examples and challenges from some of the most innovative utilities that
attendees can take back to their organizations,” said Steve Drazga, CEO
at Energy Central.
Forum attendees learned how these world-class utilities are using eight
C3 Energy Grid Applications on its fully integrated machine
learning-based platform to solve typical yet complex business
challenges, such as enhancing customer engagement, increasing
participation in energy efficiency programs, preventing energy loss and
improving theft detection, and increasing the effectiveness of network
asset maintenance and resource deployment.
-
AEP-PSO,
which serves approximately 540,000 customers in 232 cities and towns,
has deployed C3 Residential and C3 Commercial to enable an integrated
digital customer experience leveraging one platform across customer
segments and channels.
-
Eversource
Energy, which operates New England’s largest utility system
serving 3.6 million electric and natural gas customers across three
states, is leveraging a total of five C3 Customer Analytics
applications to redefine their customer interactions and
relationships. Learn more about the latest
suite of C3 Customer Analytics applications, announced this week.
-
Enel,
one of the world’s largest integrated electric power and gas utilities
with 61 million customers and a pioneer in smart grid technologies, is
using C3 Energy’s platform and applications to reduce non-technical
loss, improve network reliability, and reduce maintenance costs across
its network in Italy. This is one of several deployments currently
under way with C3 Energy, as Enel continues to enable big data
analytics and machine learning at petabyte scale across its entire
network.
“The journey we are on is to transform the nature of engagement with our
customers using significantly more data along with digital innovation.
We’re going from a hundred years of ‘reliable service and a bill’ to an
interactive, digital-first customer experience,” said Derek Lewellen,
Manager, GridSMART, AEP-PSO.
