Colorado's energy bill allows COGCC director to delay permits under these conditions
On May 16, 2019, Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission (COGCC) Director Jeff Robbins published updates to a list of conditions called the "Director’s Objective Criteria."

The Director’s Objective Criteria inform the director as to what conditions should be considered a “flag” to potentially delay an oil and gas permit application for further study or review as allowed by Colorado’s new energy law SB 19-181.
