Nate Fisher, vice president of US development and geosciences, of Enerplus Corporation, (ticker: ERF) presented today at EnerCom’s The Oil & Gas Conference® 22.

Enerplus is a Canadian E&P with producing acreage in the Williston and Marcellus basins and in waterflooding operations in Alberta and Saskatchewan, Canada. The majority of its development focus is on its Williston basin assets, which themselves are spread between Montana and North Dakota.

During the company’s breakout session, management was asked the following questions:

  • When can we expect results from the newer DJ Basin assets?
  • How analogous would the DJ Basin wells be to PDC’s Wattenberg wells?
  • What methods will decrease well costs in the Bakken as you mentioned earlier?
  • Do you see a diminishing return on your Bakken wells at sand volumes greater than 1,000 pounds per foot?
  • What is your stage spacing design in the Bakken?
  • Do you forsee spud to release times below the quoted current 14 day timeline?
  • Are you looking for new Bakken acreage currently?
  • Do you consider your Marcellus assets as being core to the company and are there plans to divest in the future?
  • Do you have any specific plans for the current $400 million of cash in hand?
  • What improvements or changes are needed to move to a three rig program in 2018?
  • Have you seen price pressure for service costs on frac jobs change recently?
  • Top tier services appear to have dried up in the Bakken in 2016, how has this affected current and future operations?
