(Oil & Gas 360) – Earlier this month, EnerCom met with CanCambria Energy CEO Paul Clarke, PhD, to talk about how the company could transform natural gas markets in Europe through CanCambria’s Kiskunhalas drilling project in the Pannonian tight gas basin. The company has recently opened an office in Budapest, Hungary, in the heart of the immense basin.
Dr. Clarke and EnerCom’s Jim Felton discuss the company’s first mover advantage, its technical and geologic review, Hungary’s favorable regulatory environment and the Canadian E and P technical team’s deep drilling experience across five continents and 3,000 wells to bring to bear on the project to produce and deliver natural gas from central Hungary to Europe. The continent imports over 80% of its natural gas, much of it from an unreliable Russia.
