NEW YORK, Aug. 7, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Index providers FFI, Clean Edge, and Alpha Vee Solutions announced a partnership today to co-develop the Energy Transition Index, a thematic investment opportunity optimized for investors looking to shift their assets away from fossil fuels and toward clean-energy innovation and deployment.
"While environmental, social, and governance (ESG) funds have become increasingly popular, most of these investment vehicles are structured to achieve returns that mirror a broad market index," said Chris Ito, CEO of FFI.
