UNION, Ill., Nov. 1, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- National utility and specialty contractor, INTREN, today announced the appointment of Keith Garvey as the company's Regional Vice President of Business Development, East Coast, effective immediately.
Garvey comes to INTREN with a wealth of knowledge within the energy sector, having over 26 years of operational and customer service experience. In his previous position as Vice President Customer Service and Communications for Jamaica Public Service Company, Garvey led 1700 employees through a customer service turnaround and expanded the company's retail operations island wide. He was also responsible for several of the company's unique customers' solutions, including the company's prepaid services program.

Garvey will play an instrumental role in forwarding INTREN's vision and providing innovative solutions to meet the evolving needs of both electric and gas customers on the East Coast. Keith's region includes Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, Delaware, Washington D.C. and New York.

Garvey holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University, along with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from the College of Arts, Science and Technology in Jamaica.
